Abuse in the Jewish world

Really makes me sad to post this but its utterly disgusting how men out there can treat women so poorly. I'm not talking about say mean things, or being rude, etc. I'm talking about abuse. Hardcore abuse. Taking advantage of their strength, controlling words and status over women. Even their own wives and children.

Why do we wash our hands for bread?

A bit of quick torah that most people probably don't know. I learned this from Rabbi Mizrachi.

The reason we wash our hands is because of the Kohanim. The reason our Sages declared that all of us should wash is so that the Kohanim do not forget to wash their hands when the next Bais Hamikdash will be built.

The reward for those who do this mitzvah even though they are not requested is segulah for wealth! When you say the bracha "al netilas yedayim" if you take the first letter of each word it writes out "ani", poor. So if you don't want to be poor, don't be stingy and wash with a ton of water :)

Been so busy lately!

I'm currently uploading Jewish lectures to THREE different websites. It's so time consuming and my wife is always complaining about the internet being slow.

Well, at least in the end it will all pay off.

If you didn't already know, and you probably did, Hamas means violence in Hebrew. It comes from Psalms where King David says "Hamasim" which means violent men.

It amazes me how some democratic countries don't even recognize Hamas as a terrorist group - and not only that but even call them the saviors of the fake people.

Just goes to show that we shouldn't depend on other people like politicians, governments or anyone to see the nature of these animals. The only one who can save us from these insane people is Hashem.

So it turns out that some crazy political party in Hungary decided that Jews with an Israeli passport are a threat to national security!

See the article here

Lets go over the list of evil things the Jews have done in other countries in the past.

1....

Hmmm, well then that was a long list of evil things Jews have done that threaten national security.

I have a better proposition, lets put every Hungarian that did not aid the Jews in WW2 on the national securty list.

On a more serious note, it wouldn't surprise me if in America the same thing was done. What would the Jews do then? The .02% protest vs. the majority of anti-semites? If anything put all the muslims on the list - they are the one with the religion that preaches war and death to anyone who opposes them. Putting aside the complete irrationality and absurdity of the whole thing, something like this would be a good wake up call to the Jews.

I'm not the one to tell anyone go to Israel now before it's too late. I believe you must live where you think is the safest and where you think you can get close to Hashem the most. If anything living in Israel right now with Hamas potentially starting up another war any day - that would constitute living in Israel as a danger to my life, hence I should avoid it.

Anyways, getting derailed here....

Here's another article of some blatant anti-semetism of where a Jewish judge is being accused of bias only because of his heritage.

Not that I understand why any Jew (especially frum Jew) would want to be a judge. There's no country in the world that will let you judge any man according to the Torah. The majority of cases brought up in court today would be instantly dismissed due to the fact that there were no two witnesses. But that's a talk for another time.

Who cares about who the president is?

I wonder why so many Jews are concerned about who is the president. I learned once that Hashem controls all the leaders of the world. When it comes to making decisions for a country regarding Jews, the leaders have no free will.

(See this lecture http://www.divineinformation.com/videos-english/what-is-hashems-message-to-us-2/ for the source)

All the doomsday predictions popping up right now are exactly the same ones that were being made back when Obama was elected the first time around. But hey, at least Obama didn't coerce Israel to give away land like Clinton and Bush did.

Eitherway, even if the end is going to be very soon, our minds should probably be on more important things like...what saves us from Moshiach?

2 things are commonly said to save us:

  1. Learning Torah
  2. Acts of kindness
  3. (Less commonly spoken about) Having 3 meals on Shabbos (Sanhedrin)
Just learning torah alone is not enough to save us, gotta do acts of kindness as well. So if you think the end of the world is coming soon, better start worrying about what you have to show Hashem than where you live. (Not that living in dangerous places is something to ignore but you get the point).
